Registration conditions
The Maison des Langues support courses (English, German, Spanish, French, Russian) and exams (English APTIS, Spanish Mob Out, English and German for FEP) are strictly reserved for the university community members (UNIGE, IHEID, HES, HUG): regular students, exchange students, administrative and technical staff, teaching staff, Alumni, participants of Continuing education.
For the registration deadline, please consult the web page of each course or exam.
Registration is only possible online. Payment is compulsory at the end of registration.
We accept the following payment means: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PostFinance Card, Paysafecard, PayPal, Twint.
An automatic e-mail will be sent to you once your registration has been validated.
If the payment fails, you will have to restart your registration from the beginning.
Course cancellation conditions
If the course does not correspond to your needs, it is possible to change groups or to cancel your participation.
- Cancellation or change deadline for the Fall semester 2022 : September 30, 2022.
- Cancellation or change deadline for the Spring semester 2023: March 3, 2023.
If you register for the annual course, it is not possible to cancel the Spring semester after the start of the Fall semester.
Any requests for cancellation or change must be sent to us by e-mail at .
In case of reimbursement, an administrative fee of CHF 50.- will be charged for each cancelled course.
Examination cancellation conditions
If you register for an exam, you can cancel your registration up to 10 days before the exam date.

Depending on the evolution of health measures related to COVID-19 the courses can at any time be offered exclusively online.
No refund will be claimed, if applicable.
The Maison des Langues reserves the right to cancel the course/the exam due to organizational issues.
In this case, a full refund will be given.
